RFinity is a mobile payment transaction system that empowers microSD-capable mobile
devices and transaction servers to easily, quickly and securely conduct transactions
with nearby devices or with users across a network using one-time-use transaction
identifiers. The operating system, cryptographic engine and transaction system are
entirely contained and physically isolated on a microSD card, reducing the risk
of system compromise. RFinity provides mutual authentication with the server and
two-party authentication between the remittance sender and recipient facilitating
transparency, fairness and security in every transaction.
RFinity merchants install reader devices that integrate with nearly any PC-based
point-of-sale terminal that sit on the counter in a convenient place for customers
to wave their phone past the reader. Customers with RFinity-enabled phones can pay
for their purchase with the convenience and security of a PIN-protected transaction
that they see take place instantly on their phone screen.
